How these are organized
Institutional
The client is an entity operating inside capital markets and financial systems: asset managers, funds, banks, policymakers, corporate treasuries. Engagements are research- and intelligence-driven and carry regulatory and compliance awareness — which is exactly why Capital Compass states that it is not licensed to provide investment advice. What is delivered is insight into capital flows and market conditions, rather than a business capability.
B2B (Business-to-Business)
The client is an organization, and the work is about improving how that business itself operates — its strategy, its market position, its internal systems — regardless of the industry it sits in. This is broader than institutional: a semiconductor company, a mid-size enterprise, and a founder-led startup all qualify, as long as what is delivered targets organizational capability rather than personal consumption.
Consumer-centric (B2C)
The client is an individual, buying for themselves, directly and immediately. There is no organizational decision-making layer in between.
